We’re heading north to Nabiac to visit the National Motorcycle Museum. This is a purpose-built complex housing some 800 motorcycles, together with an enormous array of memorabilia, toys, an extensive private library and gift shop. Day 3: (BLD) COFFS HARBOUR Wednesday 20 August 2025
We start off the day by taking a drive through banana plantation and avocado groves to Forest Sky Pier. This lookout offers magnificent coastal views over Coffs Harbour and down the coastline. From here we head to Carobana Confectionery to uncover the variety of carob coated fruits, nuts and sweets. Afterwards we visit Coffs Coast Wildlife Sanctuary, home to many marine animals including the Indo-Pacific bottle nose dolphins, Australian sea lions and a colony of little blue penguins. This afternoon we experience the colour and charm of Holland at the unique and quirky Clog Barn. We will witness a clog making demonstration and take a stroll through the miniature Dutch village, handmade by owner Thomas Hartsuyker.

Day 4: (BLD) TAYLORS ARM Thursday 21 August 2025
Our touring today takes us to Taylors Arm, an area of undulating landscape and state forests. The early days saw cedar felling and dairying but today we are stopping in at Perry’s Lemon Myrtle for a talk on the farm and their products. Lemon myrtle is native to Australia and its popularity is ever increasing, perhaps due to its rarity. For lunch we stop at the Pub with No Beer, an Australian icon immortalised by Slim Dusty in the biggest selling single in 1958. We enjoy lunch here, plus time to view an array of artefacts and memorabilia adoring the pub walls. Later we visit the small country town of Bowraville, known as the Verandah Post Town and not a lot has changed over the years. Exploring the town, drop into the Bowraville Folk Museum, an incredible museum that must truly be seen to be understood. We take some time to explore the town and the many craft shops before returning to Coffs Harbour.

Day 5: (BLD) DORRIGO AND BELLINGEN Friday 22 August 2025
We are in for a remarkable day as we travel up the Dorrigo Plateau to the National Park. We see some magnificent rainforest country and stunning views. The information centre and several easy walks will introduce us to the beauty and serenity of the rainforest. The Skywalk will provide us with some spectacular views. Retracing our steps to the historic township of Bellingen, we enjoy time at leisure to explore. Bellingen is nestled on the banks of the beautiful Bellinger River and once the centre of a thriving timber industry. The towns traditional style main street, a highlight is the restored Hammond and Wheatley Emporium, which is as grand as its name suggests.
