Our low-floor buses are designed to provide safe, comfortable and accessible transport across our regular passenger routes, as well as shuttle services for cruise ship arrivals and local events.
Low-floor buses allow passengers to board easily from street level, with no internal steps in the front section of the bus. This design makes boarding simpler for passengers using wheelchairs, mobility scooters, prams, or those with limited mobility.
Key accessibility features include:
- Wide entry doors for easier boarding
- Step-free front seating area
- Handrails throughout the bus
- Accessible stop request buttons
- Bright LED destination displays for improved visibility
Designated multi-purpose areas with folding seats are available for wheelchairs, mobility scooters, and prams. When required, these spaces are prioritised for passengers using wheelchairs or other mobility aids.
Our low-floor buses typically seat 41 to 49 passengers, with additional standing capacity for up to 33 passengers.
In accordance with Transport for NSW standards for regional route services, these buses do not include seatbelts. The flexible seating design, including folding seats and back-rests in mobility areas, helps maximise accessibility and space for passengers travelling with prams, trolleys, or mobility aids.
