If you have a working with children check, medium-rigid licence and a driver authority, we are regularly looking for drivers to join our family owned and operated bus and charter company based in South Pambula and Bega.

Drivers are responsible for operating the bus in a way that ensures the safety of themselves, their passengers, and the public.  Drivers are required to do this in a manner that abides with Transport for NSW, RMS, and the organisation’s operational and safety requirements.

Your daily duties will involve driving a split AM/PM school bus shift (Mon-Fri) plus any additional charter, away or cruise shifts required.

About the Role

  • Casual rate is $38.22/hr. (rate based on Operators with EA/June qtr.).
  • PPT rate is $30.68/hr.
  • Plus, a Drivers Conductor (DC) allowance ($17.49/day)
  • Hours are usually split shifts of 3-4hrs/day (+ additional hours for charter etc.).
  • Workdays are Mon to Fri during school term only.
  • Preferred applicants will be willing to drive additional shifts for charter, away or cruise.
  • The above rates are current as at 1/9/23.


  • Rate increases annually on 1st September.
  • Driver conductor allowance of $17.49/day.
  • Uniform provided.
  • Option of PPT basis available for suitable candidates.
  • Opportunity to complete Certificate III in Driving Operations (subject to PPT basis)

To drive a passenger or school bus in NSW you will need:

  • A NSW Driver Authority.
  • A Working With Children’s Check clearance.
  • A Medium Rigid License or greater to drive our buses.

Useful Links

If requested, applicants must provide an RTA licence history report.
Applicants must provide a current Working With Children check.
Bus Drivers are subject to regular driving assessments.
Transport workers are subject to random breath testing with a legal limit of 0.02 and urine drug testing.
Smoking is not permitted in public passenger vehicles or enclosed areas of the workplace.
All staff must adhere to WHS policies and procedures, safety management system guidelines and all company policy and procedures.
Any offer of employment will be subject to verification of licence status and other relevant personal details.
